Centrally located 1 bedroom apartment, perfect for people who are looking for an authentic Berlin experience in one of Berlin's most popular neighborhoods. The apartment is ideal for 2 guests, but a third person can sleep on the sofa bed.
The train and tram stations are only 500m away.
The space
Lovely, newly furnished apartment. The bedroom has a queen size bed (160x200 cm) with two separate matrasses and single duvets, a couch and coffee table, a wardrobe and a small desk. The couch can also double as a bed. Since the lying surface is rather narrow (ca. 80x200 cm) it is mostly suitable for children.
The kitchen is equipped with everything that you might need for preparing simple meals, including a and hub, a toaster, french press coffee maker and kettle.
There is also a bar with 4 bar stools where you can sit comfortably and enjoy your breakfast.
There is usually some tea, coffee, salt etc. in the kichen. We do not, however, provide these items and do not guarantee that they will be there.
Besides that there is also a washing machine and a dryer.
The apartment does not have a TV, that's why we recommand bringing a laptop. We are happy to share our Netflix account.
The bathroom is newly renovated and has a shower, sink, toilet and a hair dryer.
Bed linen and 1 hand towel + 1 bath towel per person are included. Extra towels cost extra and need to be ordered 1 week prior to your arrival.
The aparment is located on the ground floor and has been lovingly rennovated and converted from a former restaurant. Since it is located in a commercial space, it has been legally allowed by the city of Berlin and does not take away living space from Berlin residents. So you can stay here without having bad a consicous about contributing to the city's housing issues.
Guest access
As our guest you will have the whole apartment to yourself. You won’t have to share it with anybody else.

Paid public parking available on the street in front of the apartment. Free public street parking is available roughly 700 meters away.

The apartment is located on the ground floor, only one step from street level.
CITY TAX
Since the 1st of January 2014 all private Berlin visitors have to pay the so called City Tax. This 5% tax has to be paid on top of the price you pay on airbnb.

DOCUMENTS
If you are a foreign national we need copies of the passports / IDs of every person who will be staying in the apartment. This is due to § 29 - Bundesmeldegesetz (BMG).

The documents and information are collected by us using a Pre-Check In tool from chargeautomation. In the course of the Pre-Check In you also have possibility to pay the City Tax.
MONITORING
We use smart home technology to improve your experience. Minut is a smart home device that measures volume levels throughout the property, and allows us to respond to noise nuisances without disrupting your stay. Minut is privacy compliant.
Interaction with guests
Once you have booked you will receive a welcome email from us with information about the check in procedure and extensive recommendations for activities, sightseeing, restaurants and bars in Berlin.
For the check in, we will deposit the keys for you inside a lockbox at the entrance to the apartment.
During your stay with us we will also be there for you by email or phone.
